The privacy and confidentiality policy of Andrew Taylor is:

To preserve the utmost confidentiality of parties and prospective parties at all times.

After being instructed to mediate, to keep confidential to one party the subject matter of all discussions and the content of all written material (both on paper and electronic) spoken or otherwise imparted by that party and not intended for disclosure to any other party.

Original documents will be handed back to the party who owns them at the conclusion of the mediation. All other documents will be destroyed. Soft copy will be deleted.

Andrew Taylor will keep a database of contact information of the parties for his professional and business purposes. This information will not be disclosed to any third party at any time.

Andrew Taylor accepts no responsibility for unauthorised use of or access to his records. All information is open to the usual risks associated with contact and communication in any form.

Information may be unlawfully available to hackers and snoopers. We take no responsibility for this. The risk is no different from a similar risk in a bricks and mortar establishment. Except as set out below, we do not share, or sell, or disclose to a third party, any personally identifiable information collected in this business.

Basic identification and contact information, such as your name and contact details

  • To provide you with the services which you request;
  • For billing
  • For answering your enquiries
  • For verifying your identity for security purposes;

are recognised by our servers and the pages that you visit are recorded. This information is used:

  • in a collective way not referable to any particular individual, for the purpose of quality control and improvement of our site;
  • to send you news about the services to which you have signed up

Financial information, including credit card details, if relevant.

This information is used to obtain payment for goods and services you have ordered from us. Credit card information is automatically encrypted and decrypted by our payment service provider. We never have access to it. Basic accounts information is used exclusively in our accounts function.

Other information volunteered by you to assist in the mediation

The information will be used exclusively for the purpose for which you have provided it.
